Pacifico is a clean, responsive portfolio layout designed to showcase your complete digital portfolio. The layout was specifically designed to look great on all modern browsers, whether they are on a desktop screen, laptop, tablet or mobile phone.
Overview
The site is powered by HTML5 , CSS3 and jQuery, featuring some pretty nifty features such as the Isotope, Masonry and Superfish jQuery libraries. The Nivo slider has been built into Pacifico to allow a slideshow of scrolling content within the design.The layout contains several styles of portfolio, ranging from a filterable, animated, descriptive version, a masonry/pinterest type list style, and even a ‘view all together’ approach. Attached to certain styles is a custom preloader, which will initially load the thumbnail, and replace it with the full sized image once it has finished loading – important for a apparently quick load time.
The layout has been tested in all major browsers, including older versions of Internet Explorer. It has been build with search engines in mind, and makes great use of existing HTML features, and features new to HTML5 .
The script comes with documentation which will enable you to get your site up and running rather quickly. As updates are made to the template, additional documentation will be provided, along with an updated frequently asked questions section.
